D oes this angle cut Designer Series Paper look like it would be tricky to do? I’m here to show you how easy it is to make 4 cards with 4 matching pieces from one piece of 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper.
Project Recipe
You will need:
4 card bases: 81/2" x 51/2" scored at 41/4"
1 piece Designer Series Paper: 6" x 6"
1 cardstock mat (optional) 6 1/4" x 6 1/4"
Sentiment label
Stamps or Die cuts to decorate
Pencil
Place the designer series paper in the trimmer / scorer at 1 1/2" and make a tic mark at the top of the paper.
Rotate the paper clockwise to the next side and repeat.
Continue rotating the paper clockwise until all sides have a tic mark at 1 1/2".
Line up the tic mark at the top of your paper in the channel of your trimmer. While keeping the top tic mark in that position, align the tic mark at the bottom of your paper (the opposite side) up in the channel of the trimmer.
Cut from one side to the other- from the top tic mark to the bottom tic mark.
Place the cut edge at the top of the trimmer and line up the tic mark at the bottom of the paper in the cutting channel. Cut.
Repeat for the second piece.
You should now have 4 identical shapes.
If using a mat, place the cardstock in the trimmer and make tic marks at 1 5/8" on all sides (turning the mat clockwise) just as you did on the Designer Series paper.
Adhere the Designer series paper shapes to the coordinating mats (optional) and then to the card base.
Stamp and add sentiment label and decorate.
