Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Bubble Bath Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" of small white and light pink hearts scattered on dark blue green background design from Delightfully Eclectic 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper, cut so the hearts are vertical on the vertical rectangle
- 1-5/8" x 3" of different color thin lines on white background design from Delightfully Eclectic 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper, cut so the lines are horizontal on the horizontal rectangle
- 1-1/2" square from Smoky Slate Cardstock
- 1" x 3-1/4" from Bubble Bath Cardstock
- 1" x 2" from Bubble Bath Cardstock
Adhere the piece of hearts Delightfully Eclectic Designer Paper to the front of the Bubble Bath card.
Pick out the scalloped and stitched edge die from the Basic Borders Dies. Put it on top of the 1" x 3-1/4" Bubble Bath strip on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so you will cut out the long, center section of the die along one long edge of the cardstock. Run through the machine.
Adhere the scalloped edge Bubble Bath strip to the back of the top of the horizontal striped designer paper rectangle so the stitching and scallops poke out along one long edge. Use Paper Snips Scissors to cut off any excess cardstock on the left and right edges as needed.
Adhere the matted, striped designer paper rectangle to the front of the card so the right edge is 1/2" from the right edge of the card and the bottom edge is 3/4" from the bottom edge of the card.
As you are ready to stamp using the Warm Welcome Set or Cheerful Daisies Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the "oops-a-daisy so sorry" sentiment from the Cheerful Daisies Set on Block C. Use the side of the brush tip of the Pretty Peacock Stampin' Write Marker to ink up only the words "so sorry." Breathe on the stamp to moisten the ink. Stamp the sentiment on the 1" x 2" Bubble Bath strip.
Use Paper Snips Scissors to cut out the stamped sentiment by hand leaving about 3/16" of space between the letters and the left and right edges.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the cut out sentiment to the front of the card so it is centered between two of the horizontal lines on the striped rectangle and is about 1/2" from the bottom of the rectangle and about 1" from the right side of the rectangle.
Mount the small cat image from the Warm Welcome Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Pretty Peacock Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the Smoky Slate square.
Use Paper Snips Scissors to cut out the cat image by hand.
Use Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the cut out cat image to the front of the card so it overlaps the right end of the sentiment strip and is even with the bottom of the sentiment strip.
Cut a 16" piece of the white twine from the Baker's Twine Essentials Pack.
Fold the twine in half. Tie a small bow in the center of the folded twine. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the twine bow at a slight angle to the front of the card as shown so it is centered over the bottom right side of the cat cut out.
