Y ou hope you never need to send, or receive, sympathy cards; however, sometimes it's necessary. This card was created to blend heartfelt sentiments and beautiful flowers.
Project Recipe
When making this design, I generally make 2 cards. This way I can use both pieces of the diagonally cut DSP and cardstock.
Colored Cardstock:
8 1/2" x 5 1/2" Scored at 4 1/4" (Card Base)
5 1/4" x 4" (Highland Heather)
White Cardstock:
5 1/4" x 4" (Inside Card)
3" x 3 1/2" (Tulip, stem & leaf)
DSP: 5 1/4" x 4" cut diagonally (Card Front)
Pre-Stamped sentiment from Many Messages
Cut both the highland heather cardstock and the DSP diagonally from corner to corner.
Swap the two left-corner pieces.
Place 1 each of the Highland Heather cardstock and Flowering Fields DSP triangles on the front of the Blackberry Bliss card. Leave space between them to allow cardstock to show through.
Stamp Tulip, stem, & leaf on 3" x 3 1/2" paper and punch out. Place on front of card using a dimensional under the tulip head.
Stamp desired sentiment and flower on white 5 1/4" x 4" cardstock and attach to the inside of the card.
Embellish as desired with gems or ribbon.
