Project Recipe
Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- 2" x 4" from Soft Succulent Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 2-1/4" from Poppy Parade Cardstock
- 1-3/4" x 4" from Flirty Flamingo Cardstock
- 1-1/4" x 3-1/2" from Soft Succulent Cardstock
- 1-1/4" x 2" from Basic White Cardstock
As you are ready to stamp using the Sweet Strawberry Set, place the cardstock or bag on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp. Put a piece of paper (Grid Paper works great) on top of the Mat to protect it from ink.
Mount the large stem of leaves and flowers image from the Sweet Strawberry Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Evening Evergreen Ink Pad. Stamp it in the lower left corner of the front of an Evening Evergreen Ombre Gift Bag. Clean the stamp using the Stampin' Scrub and Stampin' Mist and/or Simply Shammy, but leave the stamp on the block.
Use the Soft Succulent Marker to color in the leaves of the stem stamped on the bag.
Use the Chalk Marker to color in the flowers stamped on the bag.
Unlock the Delightful Tag Topper Punch. Slide one short edge of the larger Soft Succulent strip into the punch as far as it will go. Punch.
Pick out the stitched, small zig zag die from the Basic Borders Dies. Put it on top of the bottom edge of the Soft Succulent tag on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so you will cut off the bottom and have a tag that is about 3-3/8" long. Run through the machine. Keep the die out.
Mount the "happy birthday you sweet thing," "hello there," or "that was so sweet of you" sentiment on an appropriate size block. Ink it up with the Evening Evergreen Ink Pad. Stamp it on the front of the Soft Succulent tag just above the zig zag bottom.
Ink up the large stem of leaves and flowers image on Block D with the Soft Succulent Ink Pad. Stamp it a couple of times on the tag above the stamped sentiment. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time. Some of the images will go over the edges of the tag.
Put the stitched, small zig zag die on top of one long edge of the small Poppy Parade rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine.
Adhere the stamped tag to the Poppy Parade zig zag piece so a bit of the Poppy Parade shows along the bottom and the zig zags line up. Use Paper Snips Scissors to cut off excess Poppy Parade cardstock on the right and left edges of the tag.
Mount the solid strawberry image from the Sweet Strawberry Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Flirty Flamingo Ink Pad. Stamp it on one end of the horizontal Flirty Flamingo strip so the wider part of the berry is on the bottom. Re-ink the stamp with the Flirty Flamingo Ink and stamp it again on the other end of the horizontal Flirty Flamingo strip again so the wider part of the berry is on the bottom.
Mount the outline strawberry image from the Sweet Strawberry Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Poppy Parade Ink Pad. Stamp it over the previously stamped solid strawberry images so the edges line up. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time.
Unlock the Strawberry Builder Punch. Hold the punch upside down so you can see the punching area. Slide one of the stamped strawberries into the punch and get it centered in the strawberry punching area. Punch. Repeat with the other stamped strawberry. Leave the punch unlocked.
Mount the solid leaf cap image from the Sweet Strawberry Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Soft Succulent Ink Pad. Stamp it on one end of the vertical Soft Succulent strip so it is oriented the same way as the coordinating punching area in the Strawberry Builder Punch. Re-ink the stamp with the Soft Succulent Ink and stamp it again on the other end of the vertical Soft Succulent strip making sure it is oriented the correct way.
Mount the outline leaf cap image from the Sweet Strawberry Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Evening Evergreen Ink Pad. Stamp it over the previously stamped solid leaf cap images, remembering to re-ink the stamp each time.
Slide one of the stamped leaf cap images into the unlocked Strawberry Builder Punch and get it centered in the leaf cap punching area. Punch. Repeat with the other leaf cap image. Leave the punch unlocked.
Use Mini Glue Dots to adhere the leaf cap punch outs to the tops of the punched out strawberries.
Adhere one strawberry with leaf cap to the upper left side of the stamped tag using Stampin' Seal. Adhere the other strawberry with leaf cap to the tag so it overlaps the first strawberry a bit on the right side and is a bit lower using Stampin' Dimensionals.
Mount the outline, small, single flower image from the Sweet Strawberry Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Poppy Parade Ink Pad. Stamp it on one end of the thin, horizontal white strip.
Slide the stamped flower image into the unlocked Strawberry Builder Punch and get it centered in the flower punching area. Punch.
Adhere the punched out flower to the tag so it overlaps the lower left side of the bottom strawberry and tucks slightly under the lower left side of the top strawberry.
Use a Mini Stampin' Dimensional to adhere a Bumblebee Trinket to the tag so it overlaps the lower right side of the upper strawberry.
Insert a treat into the stamped and colored Ombre Gift Bag.
Fold the top of the gift bag closed towards the back of the bag.
Cut a length of Soft Succulents 3/8" Open Weave Ribbon long enough to tie around the top of the tag and tie the tag in place.
Wrap the ribbon around the top of the bag and cross the ends. Slide the tag onto one of the loose ends. Tie the tag in place with a knot. Trim the ends of the ribbon. Slide the ribbon and tag over so they are on the right side of the bag.
Put a little bit of Stampin' Seal on the back of the tag along the bottom and adhere it to the front of the bag at a slight angle.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 4 small Soft Succulent jewels from the sheet of 2021-2023 In Color Jewels making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere one to the center of the small flower punch out on the tag. Adhere the other three to the centers of the white colored flowers stamped on the bag.
