Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4" (I used Cherry Cobbler, Granny Apple Green, and Pacific Point Cardstock)
- 4" x 5-1/4" of cardstock (I used Granny Apple Green and Rich Razzleberry)
- 3-1/4" square of coordinating design from Berry Delightful Designer Series Paper
- 2-1/2" square of cardstock (I used Cherry Cobbler, Blackberry Bliss, and Night of Navy)
- 3" square from Whisper White or Basic White Cardstock
For the strawberry card:
- 2" x 4" from Whisper White or Basic White Cardstock
- 2" x 3" from Whisper White or Basic White Cardstock
For the blackberry/raspberry card:
- 1-1/2" x 3" from Whisper White or Basic White Cardstock
For the blueberry card:
- 1-1/2" square from Whisper White or Basic White Cardstock
Insert the 4" x 5-1/4" cardstock rectangle into the Tasteful Textile or Hammered Metal 3D Embossing Folder. Use the line drawn on the front flap of the folder to help line the cardstock up straight. Place the folder with the cardstock inside on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and run through the machine.
Note: I used the Hammered Metal Folder for the blackberry/raspberry card because I thought the texture looked similar to the texture of the berries.
For the strawberry card, cut a 4-1/2" piece of the Vanilla 1/2" Ribbon from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack.
For the blackberry/raspberry card, cut a 4-1/2" piece of Blackberry Bliss Striped Ribbon.
For the blueberry card, cut a 15" piece of the Night Of Navy 1/8" Ribbon from the Playing With Patterns Ribbon Combo Pack. Fold it into thirds.
For the strawberry card, lay the ribbon on some Grid Paper to protect your work surface. Use the brush tip of the Light Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Blends to color the ribbon on both sides.
Lay the ribbon across the bottom of the dry embossed cardstock rectangle so the ribbon is about 3/4" from the bottom. Flip the cardstock over and fold the ends of the ribbon over. Adhere the ends of the ribbon in place with pieces of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
For the blueberry card, try to make sure the left ends of the ribbon are fanned out a bit.
Remove the protective backing from the Tear & Tape strips and add Stampin' Seal to the back of the dry embossed cardstock rectangle. Adhere it to the front of the card.
Adhere the square of Berry Delightful Designer Series Paper to the front of the card so it is about 1/2" from the top, right, and left edges.
Pick out the scalloped circle die from the Layering Circles Dies that cuts out a scalloped circle that is 2-1/4" diameter. Put it on top of the square of colored cardstock on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the tool.
Pick out the smooth circle die from the Layering Circles Dies that cuts out a smooth circle that is 2-1/8" diameter. Put it on top of the white square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the tool.
As you are ready to stamp using the Sweet Strawberry Set and Berry Blessings Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp. Put a piece of paper (Grid Paper works great) on top of the Mat to protect it from ink.
Mount the "that was so sweet of you" sentiment from the Sweet Strawberry Set on Block D. Ink it up with a coordinating color of ink (I used Cherry Cobbler, Blackberry Bliss, and Night of Navy) and stamp it on the white circle cut out. For the strawberry card, I stamped it near the top center. For the blackberry/raspberry card and blueberry card, I stamped it near the bottom center.
For the strawberry card, go ahead and adhere the stamped white sentiment circle cut out to the center of the scalloped circle cut out and then adhere it to the front of the card so it is centered side to side on the designer paper square and slightly closer to the top.
For the blackberry/raspberry card, mount the solid grouping of three leaves image from the Berry Blessings Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Granny Apple Green Ink Pad. Stamp it near the upper left side of the sentiment circle cut out so you get the bottom two leaves as shown. Re-ink the stamp and stamp it again near the center right side so you get one of the leaves as shown.
Mount the outline grouping of three leaves image from the Berry Blessings Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Garden Green Ink Pad. Stamp it over the first solid grouping of leaves so the edges line up. Re-ink the stamp and stamp it again over the other solid leaf image so the edges line up.
Mount the solid blackberry/raspberry image from the Berry Blessings Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Rich Razzleberry Ink Pad. Stamp it onto the sentiment circle cut out as shown so it appears to be hanging from the stamped leaves. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time.
Mount the outline blackberry/raspberry image from the Berry Blessings Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Blackberry Bliss Ink Pad. Stamp it onto the sentiment circle cut out as shown so it is stamped over the previously stamped berries and the edges line up. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time.
Adhere the stamped sentiment circle cut out to the center of the scalloped circle cut out and then to the front of the card so it is centered in the designer paper square.
For the blueberry card, mount the solid grouping of three leaves with stems image from the Berry Blessings Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Granny Apple Green Ink Pad. Stamp it on the top of the sentiment circle cut out so you get the two leaves and two little stems as shown.
Mount the outline grouping of three leaves with stems image from the Berry Blessings Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Garden Green Ink Pad. Stamp it over the solid grouping of leaves and stems so the edges line up.
Mount the solid set of three blueberries image from the Berry Blessings Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Pacific Point Ink Pad. Stamp it onto the sentiment circle cut out as shown so it appears the two bigger berries are hanging from the stamped stems.
Mount the outline set of three blueberries image from the Berry Blessings Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Night Of Navy Ink Pad. Stamp it onto the sentiment circle cut out as shown so it is stamped over the previously stamped berries and the edges line up.
Adhere the stamped sentiment circle cut out to the center of the scalloped circle cut out and then to the front of the card so it is centered in the designer paper square.
For the strawberry card, mount the solid strawberry image from the Sweet Strawberry Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Flirty Flamingo Ink Pad. Stamp it on one end of the vertical 2" x 4" white strip so the wider part of the berry is on the bottom. Clean the stamp with the Stampin' Mist and Stampin' Scrub and/or Simply Shammy, but leave the stamp on the block.
Re-ink the solid strawberry image on Block B with the Cherry Cobbler Ink Pad. Stamp once onto Grid Paper. WITHOUT RE-INKING, stamp it on the other end of the vertical 2" x 4" white strip so the wider part of the berry is on the bottom.
Mount the outline strawberry image from the Sweet Strawberry Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Cherry Cobbler Ink Pad. Stamp it over each of the previously stamped solid strawberry images so the edges line up. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time.
Unlock the Strawberry Builder Punch. Hold the punch upside down so you can see the punching area. Slide one of the stamped strawberries into the punch and get in centered in the strawberry punching area. Punch. Slide the other stamped strawberry into the punch and get it centered in the strawberry punching area. Punch. Leave the punch unlocked.
Mount the single solid leaf image from the Sweet Strawberry Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Granny Apple Green Ink Pad. Stamp it on the left end of the horizontal 2" x 3" white strip so the leaf stem is horizontal and on the left side of the leaf.
Mount the single outline leaf image from the Sweet Strawberry Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Garden Green Ink Pad. Stamp it over the previously stamped solid leaf image so the edges line up.
Slide the stamped leaf image into the unlocked Strawberry Builder Punch and get it centered in the leaf punching area. Punch. Leave the punch unlocked.
Mount the outline, small, single flower image from the Sweet Strawberry Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Flirty Flamingo Ink Pad. Stamp it on the right end of the horizontal 2" x 3" white strip.
Slide the stamped flower image into the unlocked Strawberry Builder Punch and get it centered in the flower punching area. Punch.
WITHOUT ADHERING, lay the punched out strawberries, leaf, and flower on the lower left side of the sentiment circles on the card front so they overlap a bit as shown,. When happy with the arrangement, adhere the Flirty Flamingo strawberry and leaf in place using Stampin' Seal. Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the Cherry Cobbler strawberry in place. Use a small bit of Stampin' Seal on one side of the flower only to adhere the flower in place to the upper right side of the Cherry Cobbler strawberry.
For the blackberry/raspberry card, mount the solid grouping of three leaves image from the Berry Blessings Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Granny Apple Green Ink Pad. Stamp it on one end of the 1-1/2" x 3" white strip so you get the small leaf sticking off to the side by itself.
Mount the outline grouping of three leaves image from the Berry Blessings Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Garden Green Ink Pad. Stamp it over the solid grouping of leaves so the edges line up.
Mount the solid blackberry/raspberry image from the Berry Blessings Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Rich Razzleberry Ink Pad. Stamp it on the other end of the white strip.
Mount the outline blackberry/raspberry image from the Berry Blessings Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Blackberry Bliss Ink Pad. Stamp it over the previously stamped berry so the edges line up.
Use Paper Snips to cut out the berry and the small leaf that sticks off to the side by itself.
Turn the berry upside down on your work surface. Lay the leaf upside down on the top of the berry so it is sticking out to the right side at an angle from the top of the berry. Use a Stampin' Dimensional to adhere the two pieces together. Remove the protective backing from the Dimensional and adhere the berry with leaf attached to the front of the card so it overlaps the lower left side of the sentiment circle as shown. The leaf should now be sticking off to the upper left side at a angle.
For the blueberry card, mount the solid set of three blueberries image from the Berry Blessings Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Pacific Point Ink Pad. Stamp it onto the white square so you get the largest berry.
Mount the outline set of three blueberries image from the Berry Blessings Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Night Of Navy Ink Pad. Stamp it over the previously stamped large berry so the edges line up.
Use Paper Snips to cut out the large stamped blueberry.
Use a Stampin' Dimensional to adhere the cut out large blueberry to the front of the card so it overlaps the leaf and berry on the upper left side of the sentiment circle as shown.
For the strawberry card, cut a 4" piece of the Vanilla 1/2" Ribbon from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack.
For the blackberry/raspberry card, cut a 3" piece of Blackberry Bliss Striped Ribbon.
For the blueberry card, cut a 9" piece of the Night Of Navy 1/8" Ribbon from the Playing With Patterns Ribbon Combo Pack.
For the strawberry card, lay the ribbon on some Grid Paper to protect your work surface. Use the brush tip of the Light Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Blends to color the ribbon on both sides.
For the strawberry and blackberry/raspberry cards, slide one end of the ribbon under the ribbon already on the card and tie in place with a half knot. Trim the ends. Situate the ribbon knot in the center or to the right side.
For the blueberry card, slide one end of the ribbon under the ribbon already on the card on the right side and tie in place with a small bow. Trim the ends.
