Note: You are using the large horizontal rectangle with the cut out in the center for this project. Use the cut out piece for another project.
Put the designer paper rectangle with the hole cut out of it on top of the Real Red horizontal rectangle. Pick out the die that is 2-3/4" x 3-3/8" from the Layering Diorama Dies. Put it on top of the Real Red rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered inside the designer paper rectangle cut out. Remove the designer paper rectangle. Run through the machine.
Note: You are using the large horizontal rectangle with the cut out in the center for this project. Use the cut out piece for another project.
Mount the mushroom group image from the Snailed It Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Memento Ink Pad. Stamp it on the white rectangle in the center near the right edge.
WITHOUT ADHERING, lay the Real Red rectangle on the stamped white rectangle so the bottom of the cut out on the right side covers the bottom of the stamped mushroom group.
Mount the "hello" sentiment from the Snailed It Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Real Red Ink Pad. Stamp it on the white rectangle in the center of the cut out area of the Real Red rectangle just above the stamped mushroom group.
Remove the Real Red rectangle with the hole cut out of the center from the stamped white cardstock.
Put the stamped white rectangle on some Grid Paper to protect your work surface. You need to make sure that you protect your work surface with paper as the Stampin' Blends Markers do bleed through.
Use the Dark and Light Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends to color in the tall, skinny mushroom and stem.
Use the Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends to outline the curving tendril on the right side of the image.
Use the Dark and Light Bermuda Bay Stampin' Blends to color in the small mushroom and the leaves.
Use the Dark Bermuda Bay Stampin' Blends to outline the grass.
Use the Dark and Light Real Red Stampin' Blends to color in the polka dots and stem on the large mushroom.
Use the Dark and Light Petal Pink Stampin' Blends to color in the rest of the large mushroom.
Use the Color Lifter Stampin' Blends if needed to remove excess color.
Now, adhere the Real Red rectangle with the hole cut out of the center over the top of the stamped and colored white rectangle so the so the bottom of the cut out on the right side covers the bottom of the stamped mushroom group.
If needed, trim off excess white cardstock sticking out from behind the Real Red rectangle on the edges.
Adhere the designer paper with the hole cut out of the center over the top of the Real Red rectangle.
Adhere the stamped, colored, layered, and matted designer paper/cardstock rectangle to the front of the Bermuda Bay card.
If you haven't already done so, use Paper Snips to cut out the mushrooms from the designer paper as outlined above in the measurements.
Adhere the large mushroom cut out to the front of the card so it overlaps the left side of the cut out area in the center of the card.
Adhere the small blue mushroom to the front of the card so the stem is tucked behind the stem of the big mushroom on the right side and the top of the small mushroom overlaps the bottom right side of the big mushroom.
Adhere the medium mushroom to the front of the card so it overlaps the lower left side of the big mushroom.
Cut a 10" piece of the Real Red 1/8" Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon from the Playful Pets Trim Combo Pack.
Tie a small bow in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the bow to the front of the card so it is centered over the bottoms of the cut out mushrooms.
