P retty anniversary card for my husband using Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Blackberry Bliss Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Rich Razzleberry Cardstock
- 3-3/4" x 5" of ombre Blackberry Bliss design from Oh So Ombre Designer Series Paper, cut so the color fades down on the vertical rectangle
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" from Whisper White or Basic White Cardstock
- 2" x 4" from Whisper White or Basic White Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 4" from Rich Razzleberry Cardstock
Mount the embracing couple under the umbrella image from the Silhouette Scenes Set on Block I. Ink up the stamp with the VersaMark Pad. Now, ink it up with the Blackberry Bliss Ink Pad. Stamp the image on the vertical Oh So Ombre Designer Paper rectangle so it is centered side to side and the top of the umbrella is about 1" from the top.
Lay the stamped designer paper rectangle on top of some Grid Paper in the center. Sprinkle on some Clear Stampin' Emboss Powder so it covers the stamped image. Tap off excess powder. Return the excess powder to the container to use again later.
Heat the powder with the Heat Tool until it is completely melted (shiny, clear, and smooth).
Tip: Use a clothespin to hold the designer paper while using the Heat Tool to avoid burning your fingers.
Pick out the largest, scalloped edge heart die from the Stitched Be Mine Dies. Put it on top of the vertical, large white rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the heart is centered side to side and is about 1/2" from the top. Run through the tool. You are using the large white rectangle with a scalloped heart cut out of it for this project. Keep the large heart cut out to use on another project.
Insert the white cardstock rectangle with the scalloped heart cut out of it into the Scripty 3D Embossing Folder so the words run horizontally across the vertical rectangle. Use the line drawn on the front flap of the folder to help line the cardstock up straight. Place the folder with the cardstock inside on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and run through the machine.
Use Fine-Tip Glue or Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Stampin' Seal to adhere the dry embossed white rectangle with the heart cut out over the top of the heat embossed designer paper so the couple image is centered in the heart cut out. Use Paper Snips to trim off excess designer paper on the edges if needed.
Adhere the white cardstock/designer paper to the large Rich Razzleberry rectangle and then to the front of the Blackberry Bliss card.
Mount the large Many Messages stamp to Block F. Ink up the portion of the stamp near the bottom with the "Happy Anniversary" sentiment. Stamp the sentiment in the center of the small white rectangle.
Put the Messages Die on top of the stamped sentiment rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the pointy ended label on the bottom of the die is centered over the sentiment. Run through the tool.
Use the side of the brush tip of the Blackberry Bliss Marker to outline the edges of the sentiment label cut out.
Use Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment label cut out to the front of the card so it is centered over the bottom of the large heart cut out.
Cut a 3-1/2" piece of the Blackberry Bliss Striped Ribbon.
Tie a knot in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon knot to the front of the card at a slight angle on the right end of the sentiment label cut out.
Pick out the interlocked hearts die from the Stitched Be Mine Dies. Put it on top of the small Rich Razzleberry rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the tool. Use the Take Your Pick Die Brush Tool to remove the pieces.
Pick out 5 heart cut outs of different sizes. Use the Mini Glue Dots, Fine-Tip Glue Pen, or Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the hearts randomly to the front of the card.
