Project Recipe
Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- 2-1/2" x 4-1/2" from Basic White Cardstock
- 2-1/2" x 4-1/2" from Poppy Parade Cardstock
- 1-1/2" square from Basic White Cardstock
- 1" x 2" from Poppy Parade Cardstock
As you are ready to stamp using the Seasonal Branches Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Pick out the line of 5 tiny leaves die from the Seasonal Branches Dies. Put it on top of the Poppy Parade strip on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere three of the tiny leaves cut outs to the lower left corner of the front of a Copper Clay bag from the 2023-2025 In Color Treat Bags so they form a rough triangle.
Mount the long branch image from the Seasonal Branches Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Copper Clay Ink Pad. Stamp it on the horizontal 2-1/2" x 4-1/2" white rectangle.
Pick out the largest angled top tag die from the Tailor Made Tags Dies. Put it on top of the stamped white rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the left end of the branch gets cut off on the left side of the tag where the hole is and there is room in the lower right corner to stamp the sentiment. Run through the machine. Leave the die out.
Put the angled top tag die on top of the large Poppy Parade rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine.
Mount the "thanks" sentiment from the Seasonal Branches Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Copper Clay Ink Pad. Stamp it in the lower right corner of the branch tag cut out.
Mount the large group of leaves image from the Seasonal Branches Set on Block D. Ink it up with the VersaMark Ink Pad. Stamp it over the top of the branches on the tag cut out so the leaves line up roughly with the ends of the stems.
Pull out the Poppy Parade pastel stick from the Soft Pastels Assortment. Lightly rub one end of the stick over the VersaMark stamped leaves. Tap and blow off excess dust.
Pull out the Daffodil Delight pastel stick from the Soft Pastels Assortment. Lightly rub one end of the stick all over the rest of the tag. Tap and blow off excess dust.
Adhere the stamped and colored white tag to the top of the Poppy Parade tag at a slight angle as shown. Make sure the holes on the left side of the tags line up.
Mount the bird image from the Seasonal Branches Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Copper Clay Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the small white square.
Pick out the matching, open bird die from the Seasonal Branches Dies. Put it on top of the stamped image on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the image. Run through the machine.
Rub the Daffodil Delight pastel stick on the bird's chest and beak. Rub the Poppy Parade pastel stick on the rest of the bird. Use your finger to blend the colors. Tap and blow off excess dust.
Use Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the colored bird cut out to the tag as shown so he appears to be sitting on the branch on the left edge.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up one large Copper Clay dot from the sheet of 2023-2025 In Color Dots making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the upper right corner of the white tag as shown.
Fill the bag with treats. Fold the top of the bag over to the front of the bag just a bit.
Cut a piece of the Copper Clay jute trim from the 2023-2025 In Color Jute Trim long enough to tie around the folded shut bag and tie in place.
Wrap the jute trim around the folded shut bag. Slide the layered tags onto one end of the jute trim. Tie in place with a knot. Trim and fray the ends.
