Cut cardstock, designer paper, and Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Mint Macaro Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Tranquil Tide Cardstock
- 3-3/4" x 5" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
- 2" x 4-3/4" of light green leaves on brown crosshatch on vanilla background design from Nature's Poem Designer Series Paper
- 3" square from Very Vanilla Cardstock
- 2-1/4" x 4" from Tranquil Tide Cardstock
- 2-1/8" x 3-7/8" from Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets
Mount the Burlap background stamp on Block F. Place it rubber side up on your work surface. Ink it up by pouncing or rubbing the Soft Suede Ink Pad all over it.
Leave the inked up Burlap stamp face up on your work surface. Carefully place the large vanilla rectangle on the stamp. Fold the Grid Paper up and over the top of everything and rub. Using the Grid Paper protects your hands from getting ink on them.
Unlock the Banner Triple Punch. Slide one short end of the designer paper strip into the punch as far as it will go and punch.
Adhere the designer paper banner to the stamped burlap background so the left edge of the banner is about ½” from the left side and the points of the banner are about 1” from the bottom. Trim off excess designer paper at the top if needed.
Adhere the burlap stamped layer with banner attached to the Tranquil Tide layer and then to the front of the Mint Macaron card.
Ink up the oak tree stamp from the Lovely As A Tree Set using the Tranquil Tide Ink Pad. BEFORE stamping, use the Soft Suede Marker brush tip to color over the tree trunk until it is dark brown. Breathe on the stamp to moisten the ink. Stamp in the center of the vanilla square.
Tip: Scribble on Grid Paper with the Soft Suede Marker brush tip to clean off any green ink.
Tip: If you are making multiples of this card, be sure to clean the stamp with the Simply Shammy or Stampin' Mist and Stampin' Scrub between cards so you don't get brown ink on your green ink pad.
Pick out the smooth circle die that cuts out a 2-5/8" circle from the Layering Circles Dies. Place the stamped tree image on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the circle die on top so it is centered over the stamped tree image. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Use the brush tip of the Mint Macaron Marker to color in the leaves of the tree and the grass around the base of the tree. Use the brush tip of the Crumb Cake Marker to color in the trunk of the tree. Use the brush tip of the Tranquil Tide Marker to carefully outline the edge of the circle cut out.
Place the colored tree circle cut out upside down on your work area. Put some strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive across the back of the circle. Peel off the protective backings.
Loop one end of the Copper Metallic Thread around your fingers a few times. Cu the thread loose from the spool. Press the loops of thread to the adhesive on the back of the tree circle cut out so the thread sticks out to the upper left side (this will be the upper right side when the tree circle cut out is correct side up).
Turn the tree circle cut out right side up and adhere it to the front of the card so it is centered over the designer paper banner about 1/2" from the top of the card.
Carefully peel up the protective backing on one side of the piece of Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet and adhere the adhesive sheet to one side of the smaller Tranquil Tide rectangle. Leave the other protective backing piece in place.
Place the piece of Tranquil Tide on the Precision Base Plate on top of the Platform on the Big Shot so that the adhesive side (with protective backing in place) is on the bottom (Tranquil Tide facing up).
Pick out the "amazing" die from the Celebrate You Dies. Place the "amazing" die on top of the Tranquil Tide rectangle on the Big Shot. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot a couple of times. Use the Die Brush and paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces.
Carefully remove the protective backing from the "amazing" cut out. Adhere it to the front of the card so it overlaps the bottom of the tree circle cut out.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick tool to pick up 3 different colored pearls from a sheet of Share What You Love Artisan Pearls being sure to get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the lower right corner of the card front.
