Slide the strip of Vellum Cardstock into the punch as far as it will go. Punch.
Place the two punched banners into the Seaside Embossing Folder side by side. Place the folder with the cardstock inside on top of a Cutting Pad on your Big Shot Platform at the lowest possible setting. Place another Cutting Pad on top of the folder and run through the Big Shot.
Adhere the Bermuda Bay dry embossed banner to the front of the card in the center.
Put a short horizontal line of SNAIL across the center of the banner.
Adhere the vellum banner to the SNAIL.
Mount the "You Are One of a Kind" sentiment from the Magical Day Set on Block C. Use the side of the brush tip of the Bermuda Bay Marker to ink up only the words "One of a Kind." Breathe on the stamp to moisten the ink and stamp in the center of the strip of Pool Party Cardstock.
Pick out the curved banner framelit from the Magical Mates Framelits. Place the stamped sentiment on a Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the curved banner framelit on top so it is centered over the sentiment. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Adhere the sentiment banner cut out to the front of the card across the center of the banners using Stampin' Dimensionals.
Mount the mermaid image from the Magical Day Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Memento Ink Pad. Stamp in the center of the larger white square.
Pick out the matching mermaid framelit from the Magical Mates Framelits. Place the stamped mermaid image on a Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the seahorse framelit on top so it is centered over the image. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot. Use the Die Brush to remove the pieces.
Make sure you have some paper (Grid Paper works great) at your work space.to protect the work surface. The Stampin' Blends Markers will bleed through the cardstock that you are coloring so you need to protect your work surface.
Place the stamped and cut out mermaid and seahorse images on the work paper and start coloring with the Stampin' Blends Markers. Work in small areas at a time. The colors blend best when they are wet. The markers have a brush tip for coloring in larger areas and a fine tip for coloring in smaller areas. Use the light color first and add highlights with the darker color. If needed to blend the colors, go over things again with the lighter color.
Use Light and Dark Daffodil Delight on the mermaid's hair. Add highlights to her hair with the Bronze Marker. Use a little bit of Dark Daffodil Delight on the seahorse's belly. Use the Light and Dark Old Olive to color in the mermaid's fish body and the rest of the seahorse's body. Use the Ivory Marker on the mermaid's face, arms, and shoulders.
If you get color where you don't want it, you can use the Color Lifter Marker to remove the color.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals and Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the colored mermaid cut out to the front of the card so it is centered over the sentiment banner and overlaps it a bit.
Use a Mini Stampin' Dimensional to adhere the seahorse cut out to the front of the card so it overlaps the vellum banner on the upper right.
Pick out the two seaweed framelits from the Magical Mates Framelits. Place the Old Olive Cardstock on a Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the two seaweed framelits on top on one end. Make sure the framelits do NOT overlap. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot. Use the Die Brush to remove the pieces. Repeat on the other end of the cardstock so you have 4 seaweed cut outs.
Squish together a Mini Glue Dot and adhere it to the back of one of the seaweed cut outs. Adhere it to the card front at an upward angle so the bottom is tucked under the sentiment banner on the left side. Squish together more Mini Glue Dots and use them to adhere the remaining seaweed cut outs to the card front so they are hanging out below the sentiment banner on the left side.
Peel off and randomly adhere three Pool Party sequins from the Tutti-frutti Adhesive-Backed Sequins.
