Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- 2 pieces each 6" square of Country Floral Lane 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
- 2 pieces each 2-1/4" x 4-1/4" from coordinating color of cardstock (I used Sweet Sorbet and Balmy Blue)
- 2 pieces each 2-1/4" x 4-1/4" from Basic White Cardstock
Put a long piece of Tear & Tape Adhesive along one long edge of the back side of the designer paper square. Pay attention to the pattern and the orientation.
Remove the protective backing from the Tear & Tape and adhere the two sides of the square together ti make a tube.
Flatten one side of the tube together. Put a piece of Tear & Tape Adhesive along the inside edge of one of the flattened sides. Remove the protective backing and adhere the two sides together.
Fill the closed off tube with treats.
Put a piece of Tear & Tape Adhesive across the inside edge of the top of the filled tube and adhere the side together. Make sure you squeeze the tube together in the opposite direction so you have a sour cream container shape.
Mount the laying down cat image on Block I. Carefully ink up ONLY the cat and the line he's laying on using the Sahara Sand Ink Pad. BEFORE STAMPING, use the brush tip of the Early Espresso Stampin' Write Marker to add color to the cat's paws, ears, and tail. Breathe on the stamp to moisten the ink. Stamp it in the center of one of the white pieces so it is horizontal and slightly closer to the top horizontal edge.
Tip: I cut the group of hearts off of my stamp so I could stamp them separately anywhere I want easily. This means the cat stamp will fit on Block I and the hearts will fit on Block A as well.
Mount the cat hanging from a line image from the Love Cats Set on Block I. Ink it up with the Sahara Sand Ink Pad. Use the brush tip of the Early Espresso Stampin' Write Marker to add color to the cat's paws, tail, and ears. Breathe on the stamp to moisten the ink. Stamp the image across the top of the other white rectangle so the rectangle is vertical.
Pick out the straight-edged top die from the Tailor Made Tags Dies that cuts out a tag that is 3-5/16" long. Put it on top of the stamped laying down cat image on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the image with the hole on the left side and the cat is closer to the right edge. Run through the machine. Leave the die out.

Mount the "I love hanging out with you" sentiment from the Love Cats Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Balmy Blue Ink Pad. Stamp it on the bottom of the hanging cat tag in the center.
Use the Sweet Sorbet Stampin' Write Marker to color in the heart the hanging cat is holding.
Mount the "hi there Valentine" sentiment from the Love Cats Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Sweet Sorbet Ink Pad. Stamp it on the laying down cat tag so it is centered below the cat's head.
Mount the hearts from the laying down cat image from the Love Cats Set on Block A. Ink them up with the Sweet Sorbet Ink Pad. Stamp them on the laying down cat tag twice, remembering to re-ink the stamp each time. Stamp once to the left of the cat's head near the top of the tag and once just below the cat's belly.
Adhere the stamped and colored hanging cat tag to the top of the Balmy Blue tag so the holes in the top line up but they are slightly offset.
Adhere the stamped laying down cat tag to the top of the Sweet Sorbet tag so the holes in the top line up but they are slightly offset.
Use the handheld circle punch to punch holes in the tops of the sour cream containers near the center.
Cut a 5" piece of the Early Espresso 1/4" Faux Suede Trim. Slide the ribbon through the holes at the top of the laying down cat layered tags and through the hole punched in the top of one of the sour cream containers. Pull through until even.
Cut a 4" piece of the Sweet Sorbet 1/8" Metallic Woven Ribbon. Tie it around the other ribbon near the top of the sour cream container using a knot to hold the tag in place. Trim the ends of the ribbons.
