Project Recipe
Cut cardstock, designer paper, and Adhesive Sheets pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Soft Succulent Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Basic White Cardstock
- 3" x 4" of green stripes design from Boughs Of Holly 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper, cut so the stripes are horizontal on the horizontal rectangle
- 3-3/8" x 3-5/8" from Mossy Meadow Cardstock
- 3-1/4" x 3-1/2" from Basic White Cardstock
- 2-1/4" x 3-1/4" from Soft Succulent Cardstock
- 2-1/4" x 3-1.4" from Mossy Meadow Cardstock
- 2-1/8" x 3-1/8' from Adhesive Sheets
- 1-1/2" x 1-3/4" from Basic White Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 1-3/4" from Soft Succulent Cardstock
- 1-3/8" x 1-5/8" from Adhesive Sheets
Adhere the strip of Boughs Of Holly Designer Paper horizontally across the vertical 4" x 5-1/4" white rectangle so the left and right sides are even and it is about 7/8" from the top.
Adhere the white cardstock/designer paper rectangle to the front of the Soft Succulent card.
As you are ready to stamp using the Leaves Of Holly Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the "Peace," "&," and "Joy" sentiments together on Block B so they are evenly spaced and centered. Ink up the sentiments with the Soft Succulent Ink Pad. Stamp them in the upper right corner of the vertical 3-1/4" x 3-1/2" white rectangle so they are about 1/2" from the top and 1/4" from the right side.
Mount the more solid, slightly larger and more solid, slightly smaller holly leaf images from the Leaves Of Holly Set on Block E together so the larger one is on top and and is pointing up and the smaller one is on bottom and the stem of it tucks under the stem of the larger leaf. Ink them up with the Soft Succulent Ink Pad. Stamp them on the left edge of the previously sentiment stamped white rectangle. It's okay if the edges of the leaves go off the left and bottom edges a bit.
Lay the more detailed, slightly larger and more detailed, slightly smaller holly leaf images from the Leaves Of Holly Set stamping side down on top of the previously stamped solid leaves to line them up. Press Block E onto the stamps. Ink them up with the Mossy Meadow Ink Pad. Stamp them over the top of the previously stamped leaves on the white rectangle. It's okay if the edges of the leaves go off the left and bottom edges a bit.
Adhere the stamped white rectangle to the center of the 3-3/8" x 3-5/8" Mossy Meadow rectangle.
Adhere the stamped and matted white rectangle to the card front so it is centered over the strip of designer paper.
Pick out the open, slightly smaller holly leaf die from the Holly Berry Dies. Put it on top of the 2-1/4" x 3-1/4" Soft Succulent rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine.
Peel the protective backing off of the large Adhesive Sheets rectangle. Adhere the Adhesive Sheets rectangle to one side of the 2-1/4" x 3-1/4" Mossy Meadow rectangle. Be sure to leave the other protective backing in place for now.
Pick out the more detailed, slightly smaller holly leaf die from the Holly Berry Dies. Put it on top of the Mossy Meadow rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the Mossy Meadow (green) side is face up. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces.
Carefully remove the protective backing from the back of the detailed leaf cut out and adhere it to the solid leaf cut out.
Adhere the layered leaf cut out to the front of the card so it overlaps the space between the two stamped leaves as shown.
