Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Seaside Spray Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Night Of Navy Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" of large pink, blue, and white flowers and leaves on light blue background design from Paper Blooms Designer Series Paper
- 2-3.4" x 3-3/4" from Whisper White or Basic White Cardstock
- 1-3/4" square from Rococo Rose Cardstock
- 1" square from Night Of Navy Cardstock
- 7/8" square from Adhesive Sheets
Adhere the piece of Paper Blooms Designer Paper to the center of the large Night Of Navy rectangle.
Cut a 6" piece of Seaside Spray 1/2" Scalloped Linen Ribbon.
Lay the ribbon across the bottom of the Designer Paper/Night Of Navy rectangle so the ribbon is about 1-1/4" from the bottom edge. Flip the rectangle over and fold the ends of the ribbon over. Adhere the ends of the ribbon in place with pieces of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backing from the Tear & Tape strips and add Stampin' Seal to the back of the Night Of Navy rectangle. Adhere it to the front of the Seaside Spray card.
Mount the "thank you" sentiment from the Heal Your Heart Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Night Of Navy Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the white rectangle.
Pick out the large, mostly oval with notched ends label die from the Tasteful Labels Dies. Put it on top of the stamped sentiment on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the sentiment is centered in the die. Run through the tool. Leave the die cut label inside the die!
Place the die cut label inside the die upside down on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Use one of the stylus tips on your Take Your Pick to outline the edges of the die pressing fairly hard. This will create a lip around the edge of your die cut out giving some extra dimension and texture.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the dry embossed sentiment label cut out to the front of the card so it is centered over the ribbon on the right side. Leave about 1/2" of ribbon showing on the right side of the label cut out.
Pick out the smaller, single flower die from the In The Tropics Dies. Put it on top of the Rococo Rose square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the tool.
Peel the protective backing off of the small Adhesive Sheets square. Adhere the Adhesive Sheets square to one side of the small Night Of Navy square. Be sure to leave the other protective backing in place for now.
Pick out the set of three small flowers in a chain die from the In The Tropics Dies. Put it on top of the Night Of Navy square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the Night Of Navy (dark blue) side is facing up and the smallest flower is centered on the square. Run through the tool. Use the Take Your Pick Die Brush Tip and Take Your Pick to remove the pieces. Make sure the protective backing for the Adhesive Sheet piece stays in place for now.
Remove the protective backing from the tiny Night Of Navy flower cut out and adhere it to the center of the Rococo Rose flower cut out.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the flower cut out to the front of the card so it overlaps the lower left side of the sentiment label cut out.
If desired, use the brush tip of the Seaside Spray Dark Stampin' Blends to color a small Opal Rounds dot while it is still on the sheet. You can skip this step if you don't care if the Opal Round has a slight blue tinge.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up the small dot from the sheet of Opal Rounds making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the center of the small flower cut out in the center of the big flower cut out.
Cut a 4" piece of the Seaside Spray 1/2" Scalloped Linen Ribbon.
Tie a half knot in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon knot to the front of the card on the right side of the sentiment label cut out.
