Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Crushed Curry Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Call Me Clover Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 3-1/4" x 3-7/8" of white tribal line patterns on Call Me Clover background design from Animal Expedition Designer Series Paper, cut so the lines are horizontal
- 3-1/4" square from Crushed Curry Cardstock
- 3-1/4" square from Call Me Clover Cardstock
As you are ready to stamp using the Eastern Beauty Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount one of the sentiments from the Eastern Beauty Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Call Me Clover Ink Pad. Stamp it in the upper right corner of the white rectangle.
Adhere the piece of Animal Expedition Designer Series Paper to the bottom of the stamped white layer.
Adhere the stamped white/designer paper layer to the large Call Me Clover rectangle.
Cut a 4-1/2" piece of Call Me Clover 1/8" Grosgrain Ribbon.
Lay the ribbon across the matted white/designer paper rectangle so it covers the seam between the two layers. Flip the layer over and fold the ends of the ribbon over. Adhere the ends of the ribbon in place with pieces of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backing from the Tear & Tape strips and add SNAIL to the back of the Call Me Clover rectangle. Adhere it to the front of the Crushed Curry card.
Pick out the large, open, flower-shaped thinlit, the open circle with triangles along the edges thinlit, and the small, solid circle with a diamond petal flower center from the Eastern Medallions Thinlits. Place the Crushed Curry square on the Precision Base Plate on the platform on the Big Shot. Place the thinlits in the center so they are centered inside each other. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot a couple of times. Use the Die Brush and Paper-Piercing Tool to remove the pieces. You will have the flower pattern cut into the square but not cut out as a separate piece yet. You will need to use Paper Snips to trim the flower free by snipping at the base of the petals.
Unlock the 2" Circle Punch. Slide the square of Call Me Clover Cardstock into the punch. Punch.
Use small dabs of SNAIL Adhesive on the back of the flower cut out to adhere it over the Call Me Clover circle.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the flower image to the front of the card so it is centered over the ribbon on the left side.
Carefully peel up a large gem from a sheet of Gold Faceted Gems making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the center of the flower.
Cut a 3" piece of the Call Me Clover 1/8" Grosgrain Ribbon.
Slide one end of the ribbon under the ribbon on the card front and tie it in place using a half knot so it is to the right of the flower. Trim the ends.
