S oft and pretty Easter card using Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Pear Pizzazz Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 4-1/4" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 2 pieces each 2" x 6" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 1" x 5-1/4" from Whisper White Cardstock
Place the 4" x 4-1/4" white rectangle on top of a piece of Grid Paper so the 4-1/4" edges are horizontal.
Open the Seaside Spray Ink Pad and drag one edge lightly across the white rectangle horizontally multiple times until you get the color coverage you want.
Mount the fern image from the Daisy Lane Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Pear Pizzazz Ink Pad. Stamp it 3 times on the large, streaked white rectangle. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time. One fern image should have the tip pointing into the upper left corner and the tip should be about 1/4" from the top and left edges. Another fern image should be across the bottom edge about 1/8" from the bottom with the tip pointing to the right. The final fern image should be between the other two with the tip pointing up and the tip being about 3/4" from the top and the right side being about 1-1/4" from the right edge.
Put a 3-1/2" strip of Tear & Tape Adhesive on the fern-stamped, streaked white rectangle so the bottom of the adhesive is about 7/8" from the bottom edge and the left edge is even with the left edge of the cardstock.
Cut a 4-1/2" long piece of Seaside Spray 1/2" Scalloped Linen Ribbon so it has a sharp angle on the right end.
Remove the protective backing from the Tear & Tape strip on the cardstock and adhere the ribbon to it so the angled end is on the right and the tip of the angle touches the right edge of the cardstock. Trim off excess ribbon on the left edge.
Unlock the Banner Triple Punch. Slide one short edge of the 1" strip of Whisper White Cardstock into the punch as far as it will go. Punch.
As you are ready to stamp using the Timeless Tulips Photopolymer Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the "Happy Easter, Happy Spring happy, happy everything" sentiment from the Timeless Tulips Set on Block G. Ink it up with the Pear Pizzazz Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the punched white strip so the right edge of the sentiment is about 1/8" from the bottom of the notch with the notch on the right side.
Adhere the sentiment banner to the fern-stamped, streaked white rectangle so it overlaps the top half of the ribbon and the ends of the notch touch the right edge of the cardstock. Trim off any excess cardstock on the left edge.
Adhere the fern-stamped, streaked rectangle with ribbon and sentiment banner attached to the front of the Pear Pizzazz card so it is even with the sides of the card and about 5/8" from the top edge.
Mount the small daisy image from the Daisy Lane Set on Block C so one petal is straight down. Ink it up with the Daffodil Delight Ink Pad. Stamp it three times on each of the horizontal strips of 2" x 6" Whisper White Cardstock. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time. Make sure one petal is pointing straight down for each daisy. Leave a little space between each daisy so you can punch them out.
Unlock the Medium Daisy Punch. Hold it upside down so you see the punching area. Get one daisy image lined up in the punching area. Punch. Repeat until you have punched out all 6 daisies.
Using a Mini Glue Dot, adhere one small daisy punch out to the center of another small daisy punch out to make one full daisy. Repeat with the other daisy punch outs until you have 3 full daisies.
Use SNAIL to adhere two of the full daisies to the front of the card. One should overlap the bottom of the sentiment banner and ribbon on the lower left side. The other should overlap the very top of the sentiment banner so it is between the two fern images.
Use a Stampin' Dimensional to adhere the third full daisy to the card front so it overlaps the top of the sentiment banner on the left side and is centered between the other two full daisies.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up three large Seaside Spray dots from a sheet of 2019-2021 In Color Faceted Dots making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the centers of the daisies.
