Project Recipe
Cut cardstock, foil sheets, and Adhesive Sheets pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Granny Apple Green Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Real Red Cardstock
- 3-3/4" x 5" from Basic White Cardstock
- 3" square from Granny Apple Green Cardstock
- 2-3/4" square of Granny Apple Green foil from Melon Mambo & Granny Apple Green 12" x 12" Foil Sheets
- 2-5/8" square from Adhesive Sheets
- 1-1/2" square from Real Red Cardstock
- 1" x 3-1/2" of Granny Apple Green foil from Melon Mambo & Granny Apple Green 12" x 12" Foil Sheets
- 7/8" x 3-3/8" from Adhesive Sheets
Insert the Basic White rectangle into the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder. Place the folder with the cardstock inside on the platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and run through the machine.
Adhere the dry embossed white rectangle to the center of the large Real Red rectangle and then to the front of the Granny Apple Green card.
Pick out the large, slightly less detailed wreath die from the Country Wreaths Dies. Put it on top of the 3" Granny Apple Green cardstock square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces.
Peel the protective backing off of the Adhesive Sheets square. Adhere the Adhesive Sheets square to the white side of the Granny Apple Green foil square. Be sure to leave the other protective backing in place for now.
Pick out the large, slightly more detailed wreath die from the Country Wreaths Dies. Put it on top of the Granny Apple Green foil square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the foil side is face up. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces.
Carefully remove the protective backing from the back of the detailed, foil wreath cut out. Adhere it to the center of the more solid cardstock wreath cut out.
Peel the protective backing off of the Adhesive Sheets rectangle. Adhere the Adhesive Sheets rectangle to the white side of the Granny Apple Green foil rectangle. Be sure to leave the other protective backing in place for now.
Pick out the "J" and "Y" dies from the Alphabet A La Mode Dies. Put them on top of the foil rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the foil side is face up. Make sure the dies do NOT overlap. Run through the machine. Use the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces as needed.
WITHOUT ADHERING, lay the "J", layered wreath, and "Y" cut outs on the card front to figure out spacing and placement so you spell the word "JOY."
When happy with the spacing and placement, adhere the pieces in place one at a time by removing the protective backing from the back of the letters and using Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen on the back of the layered wreath.
As you are ready to stamp using the Cottage Wreaths Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the bow image from the Cottage Wreaths Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Real Red Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the small square of Real Red.
Pick out the matching, open bow die from the Country Wreaths Dies. Put it on top of the stamped bow on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the image. Run through the machine.
Use Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the bow cut out to the front of the card at a slight angle as shown at the bottom right side of the wreath.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 1 large and 4 small pearls from a sheet of Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the front of the card as shown. Make sure the large pearl is in the center of the bow.
