T his Get Well card is sure to bring a smile. A print background that has multiple colors allows many choices for the card base.
Project Recipe
Card Base: Cut Poppy Parade 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½. I also made versions in Granny Apple Green and Bermuda Bay. When you have a print paper with so many colors, it allows you to use multiple card bases.
Card Mat: Cut Basic Black paper 4 X 5 1/4
Card Front: Cut diagonal stripe paper 3 7/8 X 5 ⅛. My print paper is from Pattern Party Designer Series Paper.
Attach print paper card front to black card mat. Attach these to the card base.
With the stitched rectangle dies, I used the die that measured 2 ¼ X 3 ⅝ to cut a rectangle from Basic White. Stamp dog image with black ink, stamp sentiment below the dog image with ink color that matches your card base.
Attach the stamped rectangle to the card front with Stampin dimensionals. I wanted embellishments to match the card base, so I colored three clear epoxy essentials with a Blends marker the same color as the card base. Attach the colored epoxy essentials to upp left corner of the stamped rectangle.
For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Basic White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp the sentiment with ink to match your card base. Cut a strip of print paper that matches the card front ½ X 4, attach to the top of the card insert. Attach card insert inside your card base.
