E legant Christmas card using Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock, designer paper, glimmer paper, and Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Garden Green Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" of lines of greenery and red flowers on white background design from Dashing Along Designer Series Paper, cut so lines are horizontal
- 3-1/2" x 4-1/2" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 2" x 3-3/4" from Gold Glimmer Paper
- 1-7/8" x 3-5/8" from Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets
- 1-1/2" x 2-3/4" from Cherry Cobbler Cardstock
- 1-3/8" x 2-5/8" from Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets
- 1-1/2" x 3-1/2" from Garden Green Cardstock
- 1-3/8" x 3-3/8" from Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets
- 1-1/2" square from Whisper White Cardstock
Adhere the piece of Dashing Away Designer Series Paper to the front of the Garden Green card.
Pick out the medium sized open label framelit from the Stitched Seasons Framelits. Place the large Whisper White rectangle on the Cutting Pad on top of the Platform on the Big Shot. Place the large, open label framelit on top. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Adhere the label to the front of the card in the center.
Carefully peel up the protective backing on one side of the 1-7/8" x 3-5/8" Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet piece and adhere the adhesive sheet to the white side of the Gold Glimmer Paper rectangle. Leave the other protective backing piece in place.
Place the piece of Glimmer Paper on the Precision Base Plate on top of the Platform on the Big Shot so that the adhesive side (with protective backing in place) is on the bottom (gold glimmer facing up).
Pick out the "Merry" thinlit from the Merry Christmas Thinlits. Place it on top of the Gold Glimmer Paper piece on the Big Shot. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot a couple of times. Use the Die Brush to remove the pieces.
Carefully peel up the protective backing on one side of the 1-3/8" x 2-5/8" Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet piece and adhere the adhesive sheet to one side of the Cherry Cobbler rectangle. Leave the other protective backing piece in place.
Place the piece of Cherry Cobbler Cardstock on the Precision Base Plate on top of the Platform on the Big Shot so that the adhesive side (with protective backing in place) is on the bottom (Cherry Cobbler facing up).
Pick out the bow thinlit from the Stitched Seasons Framelits. Place it on top of the Cherry Cobbler piece on the Big Shot. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot a couple of times. Use the Die Brush to remove the pieces.
Carefully peel up the protective backing on one side of the 1-3/8" x 3-3/8" Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet piece and adhere the adhesive sheet to one side of the Garden Green rectangle. Leave the other protective backing piece in place.
Place the piece of Garden Green Cardstock on the Precision Base Plate on top of the Platform on the Big Shot so that the adhesive side (with protective backing in place) is on the bottom (Garden Green facing up).
Pick out the flower with leaves on either side thinlit from the Stitched Seasons Framelits. Place it on top of the Garden Green piece on the Big Shot. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot a couple of times. Use the Die Brush to remove the pieces.
Use Paper Snips to snip off most of the petals on the green flower in the middle of the flower with leaves on either side cut out.
Peel the protective backing off of the detailed bow cut out and adhere it to the front of the card at the top of the white label.
Peel the protective backing off of the trimmed flower with leaves on either side cut out and adhere it to the front of the card at the bottom of the white label.
Peel the protective backing off of the "Merry" cut out and adhere it to the front of the card in the center of the white label at a slight angle.
As you are ready to stamp using the Beautiful Bouquet Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the flower with six pointy petals image from the Beautiful Bouquet Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Cherry Cobbler Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the small white square.
Pick out the matching, open, six pointy petals flower framelit from the Bouquet Bunch Framelits. Place the stamped flower on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the flower framelit on top so it is centered over the stamped flower image. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Use a Mini Stampin' Dimensional to adhere the flower cut out over the trimmed flower in the middle of the green leaves on either side at the bottom of the label on the card front.
Carefully peel up a gold pearl from a sheet of Metallic Pearls making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the center of the flower.
