Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Old Olive Cardstock 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 2" x 5-1/4" of various green trees on white background design from A Walk In The Forest 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper, cut so the trees are vertical on the vertical rectangle
- 2-3/4" x 4" from Basic White Cardstock
- 2" x 2-1/2" from Basic White Cardstock
- 3/4" x 4" from Old Olive Cardstock
Adhere the strip of A Walk In The Forest Designer Paper down the center of the front of the Old Olive card. There should be a small amount of Old Olive showing on the top and bottom edges.
As you are ready to stamp using the Beary Cute Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the outline tree image from the Beary Cute Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Garden Green Ink Pad. Stamp it on the left side of the horizontal 2-3/4" x 4" white rectangle so it is centered top to bottom. Re-ink the stamp and stamp it again on the right side of the white rectangle. Leave the stamp on the block.
Re-ink the outline tree image on Block D with the Garden Green Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the remaining, vertical white rectangle.
Mount the solid tree image from the Beary Cute Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Old Olive Ink Pad. Stamp it inside each of the previously stamped outline tree images remembering to re-ink the stamp each time.
Adhere the stamped 2-3/4" x 4" horizontal white rectangle to the front of the card so it is centered side to side and is about 7/8" from the top. There should be a little bit of green showing on the left and right sides.
Unlock the Banners Pick A Punch. Slide one short edge of the the Old Olive strip into the right side of the punch (the side of the punch with the inward notch) as far as it will go and get it centered. Punch. Repeat on the other end.
Mount the "Merry Christmas" sentiment from the Beary Cute Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Garden Green Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the punched strip.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the punched and stamped sentiment strip to the front of the card as shown so it is centered side to side and is centered over the bottom of the tree stamped rectangle.
Use Paper Snips Scissors to cut out the stamped tree on the remaining white rectangle by hand.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the tree cut out to the front of the card as shown so it is centered side to side on just overlaps the top of the sentiment strip a bit.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up a white gem from the sheet of Faceted Gems Trio Pack making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the front of the card as shown so it is at the top of the tree cut out.
