Project Recipe
Cut cardstock, vellum, and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Balmy Blue Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 3-1/2" x 4-1/4" of blue sweater stripes design from Beary Christmas 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper, cut so the lines are horizontal on the horizontal rectangle
- 3-1/8" x 5-1/8" from Night Of Navy Cardstock
- 3" x 5" from Balmy Blue Cardstock
- 2-1/2" x 3-1/4" from Vellum Cardstock
- 2" x 3-1/4" from Basic White Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 3-1/2" from Basic White Cardstock
Adhere the piece of Beary Christmas Designer Paper to the front of the Balmy Blue card so it is centered top to bottom and the right and left edges are even.
As you are ready to stamp using the Biggest Wish Set and Beary Cute Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp. Put a piece of Grid Paper on top of the Mat to protect it from ink.
Mount the block "birthday" word from the Biggest Wish Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Misty Moonlight Ink Pad. Stamp it on the bottom of the vertical Balmy Blue rectangle so it is centered side to side and is about 1/4" from the bottom.
Mount the block "happy" word from the Biggest Wish Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Misty Moonlight Ink Pad. Stamp it just above the previously stamped word so it is centered side to side.
Mount both snowflake images from the Beary Cute Set on Block B so they are slightly offset. Ink them up with the Balmy Blue Ink Pad. Stamp the images all over the blue rectangle. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time. Rotate the stamp every so often. Let some of the images go off the edges of the cardstock.
Adhere the stamped Balmy Blue rectangle to the center of the Night Of Navy rectangle then to the front of the card so it is centered.
Unlock the Decorative Circle Punch. Hold the punch upside down so you can see the punching area. Slide the vellum into the punch and get it centered. Punch.
Use a small horizontal strip of Stampin' Seal across the center of the vellum punch out to adhere it to the top of the stamped Balmy Blue layer so it is centered side to side and centered between the top of the words and the top of the cardstock.
Mount the large, standing bear image from the Beary Cute Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Night Of Navy Ink Pad. Stamp it on one end of the horizontal 2" x 3-1/4" white strip.
Unlock the Beary Cute Punch. Hold the punch upside down so you can see the punching area. Slide the stamped bear image into the punch and get it centered in the punching area. Punch.
Adhere the bear punch out to the front of the card so it is layered on top of the vellum punch out and closer to the left edge as shown.
Mount the scarf image from the Beary Cute Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Misty Moonlight Ink Pad. Stamp it on one end of the remaining white strip.
Mount the beanie hat image from the Beary Cute Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Balmy Blue Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the remaining white strip.
Mount the bear cub image from the Beary Cute Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Night Of Navy Ink Pad. Stamp it on the other end of the remaining white strip.
Use Paper Snips Scissors to cut out the scarf, beanie hat, and bear cub images by hand.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the scarf cut out to the big bear's neck as shown.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the beanie hat cut out to the top of the bear cub cut out's head.
Use Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the bear cub cut out with beanie hat cut out attached to the front of the card so it overlaps the back of the big bear punch out as shown and is closer to the right edge of the main panel.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 1 large and 2 small white sequins from the sheet of Adhesive-Backed Glitter Sequins making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the front of the card as shown.
