Project Recipe
Cut cardstock, designer paper, and Adhesive Sheets pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Pale Papaya Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Basic White Cardstock
- 1" x 4" of plaid Pale Papaya design from 2021-2023 In Color 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper Assortment
- 2" x 2-3/4" from Basic White Cardstock
- 1-1/4" x 3-3/4" from Pale Papaya Cardstock
- 1-1/8" x 3-5/8" from Adhesive Sheets
Put the large white rectangle into the Gingham Embossing Folder vertically so the line printed on the front flap of the folder is straight and about 1-1/4" of cardstock hangs out the bottom of the folder. Place the folder with the cardstock inside on the platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and run through the machine.
Adhere the strip of plaid Pale Papaya design 2021-2023 In Color Designer Paper to the bottom of the dry embossed white rectangle so it covers the bottom of the dry embossed area and is about 1" from the bottom edge.
Adhere the dry embossed white rectangle with designer paper attached to the front of the Pale Papaya card.
Mount the butterfly image from the Amazing Silhouettes Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Pale Papaya Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the remaining small white rectangle.
Use Paper Snips Scissors to cut out the butterfly image by hand.
Adhere the cut out butterfly image to the front of the card so it overlaps the right edge of the designer paper on the card front as shown.
Peel the protective backing off of the Adhesive Sheets rectangle. Adhere the Adhesive Sheets rectangle to one side of the Pale Papaya rectangle. Be sure to leave the other protective backing in place for now.
Pick out the more detailed "amazing" word die from the Amazing Thanks Dies. Put it on top of the Pale Papaya rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the Pale Papaya (peach) side is face up. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces.
Carefully remove the protective backing from the detailed "amazing" word cut out. Adhere it to the front of the card so the tops of the letters just overlap the bottom of the designer paper strip.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up three large butterflies from a sheet of Brushed Brass Butterflies making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the front of the card as shown.
