S imple, pretty card for lots of celebrations using Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock, designer paper, and Adhesive Sheets pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Soft Succulent Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Basic White Cardstock
- 2-3/4" square of light green gingham design from Pansy Petals 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
- 2" square from Soft Succulent Cardstock
- 1-7/8" square from Adhesive Sheets
- 1" x 2-1/2" from Polished Pink Cardstock
- 1" x 2-1/2" from Magenta Madness Cardstock
WITHOUT ADHERING, lay the square of Pansy Petals Designer Paper on the vertical white rectangle so it is centered side to side and is about 1/2" from the top.
Mount the "You are SO worth celebrating!" or "Good things GROW..." sentiment from the All Squared Away Set on an appropriate size block. Ink up the sentiment with the Soft Succulent Ink Pad. Stamp it just below the designer paper square so it is centered side to side.
Now, adhere the square of designer paper in place.
Adhere the stamped and layered white rectangle to the front of the Soft Succulent card.
Peel the protective backing off of the Adhesive Sheets square. Adhere the Adhesive Sheets square to one side of the Soft Succulent square. Be sure to leave the other protective backing in place for now.
Pick out the square with leaves and two tulips die from the Floral Squares Dies. Put it on top of the Soft Succulent square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the Soft Succulent (green) side is face up. Run through the machine. Use the Take Your Pick Die Brush Tip and paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces.
Carefully remove the protective backing from the tulips and leaves square cut out. Adhere it to the front of the card so it is centered in the designer paper square.
Pick out the single, large, tulip flower die and the single, small, tulip flower die from the Floral Squares Dies. Put them on top of the Polished Pink strip on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Make sure the dies do NOT overlap. Run through the machine. Use the Take Your Pick Die Brush Tip and paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces. Leave the dies out.
Place the tulip flower dies on top of the Magenta Madness strip on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Make sure the dies do NOT overlap. Run through the machine. Use the Take Your Pick Die Brush Tip and paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the Magenta Madness (darker pink) tulip flowers to the tops of the flowers on the die cut square.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the Polished Pink (lighter pink) tulip flowers to the tops of the flowers on the die cut square so they are slightly off set from the darker pink tulip flowers.
Cut a 3-1/2" piece of the Polished Pink 3/8" Open Weave Ribbon.
Tie a half knot in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon knot to the front of the card at a slight angle on the lower right corner of the flower square cut out.
