This is such an easy card...but the great new "disINKtive"stamp set gives it an extra touch of texture with basic cardstock and ink but with and zero extra effort!
Use the "Stamparatus" stamp positioner if desired or wing it with a traditional clear block if you are only doing one or two cards.
1.) stamp the first flower image with Lovely Lipstick ink, position about midway up on the right hand side of the smallest white panel. Cover the flower image with a hand trimmed mask( *see masking instructions below) then re-ink the stamp and stamp a second flower image in the bottom left corner allowing it to overlap part of the mask covering the first flower image. When you remove the mask it will look like it is behind the first image. If there is any space left between the overlapping images you can use a sponge of sponge dauber lightly dabbed in the same color of ink to soften the white line and disguise the "naked space".
Use the Call Me Clover ink to stamp your desired sentiment in the top left corner and to place a few green leaves under the already stamped flowers, be sure to put the "mask" back over the flower to protect it from getting green ink on the flower and it will look like the leave is peeking out from underneath the rose.
If you want to jazz it up a bit now is the time...run the white panel through any embossing folder to give it some depth. I liked this card with the Swirls and Curls embossing folder from page 5 of the 2018 holiday Catalogue.
* to create a mask use thin notepad type paper or post it note and stamp the image you need to cover on the paper, trim it closely around the edges and apply repositionable adhesive on the back of the paper. You can also purchase masking paper at an art supply store or online, I bought mine from amazon.com
Mask off the flower you just stamped, reink and stamp another flower image to the left side bottom of the masked flower.
*a"mask"can easily be created by stamping the imsge on a "post it" note then trimming around it closely..make sure you stamp over the adhesive strip so it will stick but remove easily. Yse the Mask" when you want to make it appear that one image is behind another to add depth to the card.
After stamping the flowers, leave the mask in place and use Color Me Clover ink to stamp the small leaves as shown.
Stamp desired greeting in top left corner using Color Me Clover ink.
If desired you can run the stamped white cardstock throughthe Big Shot with an
embossing folde now..I used the Swirls and Curls embossing folder.
Stamp your desired sentiment in Lovely Lipstick and a few random leaves using Call Me Clover ink on the inside of card.
