Project Recipe
Cut card stock pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- 2-1/2" x 3" from Whisper White Card Stock
- scrap of Whisper White Card Stock
Mount the dotted oval outline image from the That's the Tag Photopolymer Set on Block D. Ink it up with one of the ink pads (Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo, Tangerine Tango, or Wisteria Wonder). Stamp it in the center of the large white rectangle.
Pick out the open oval with the hole for the ribbon framelit from the That's the Tag Thinlits. Place the stamped dotted oval image on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the open oval thinlit on top so it is centered over the stamped image. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Mount the tulip on a stem image from the Friendly Wishes Set on Block C. Ink up only the stem and leaves with the brush tip of the Cucumber Crush Marker. Breathe on the stamp to make sure the ink is moist and stamp it on the left side of the oval tag at a slight angle. Clean the stamp with the Stampin' Mist and Stampin' Scrub and set aside for now.
Use the fine tip of the Cucumber Crush Marker to color in the leaves.
Mount one of the three line sentiments from the That's the Tag Photopolymer Set on Block A. Ink it up with the same color of ink pad that you used for the dotted oval image. Stamp it to the right of the stem and leaves in the center of the tag.
Ink up just the flower on the flower image from the Friendly Wishes Set using the brush tip of the marker that matches the color you used to stamp the dotted oval outline and the sentiment. Stamp onto a scrap of white card stock.
Use the same marker to color in the flower.
Carefully cut out the flower using Paper Snips.
Cut a tiny piece of Stampin' Dimensionals from the edge of a sheet using Paper Snips. Adhere it to the back of the flower. Peel off the protective backing and adhere the flower to the top of the stem on the tag.
Cut a 5" piece of Whisper White Solid Baker's Twine. Fold it in half.
Stick the looped end of the baker's twine through the hole in the top of the tag from the front side of the tag. Stick the two loose ends of the twine through the loop and pull the twine tight.
Tie a knot in the two ends of the twine to make a loop about 1" long between the knot and the top of the tag. Trim the ends.
Tie a piece of ribbon to the stem of the wooden tulip with a half knot. Slide one end of the ribbon through the loop at the top of the tag. Finish tying a bow with the ribbon. Trim the ends.
