H ello note card, technique sponge dauber blending. I cased this card from Lyssa Zwolenek. I really liked her monochromatic designs, and added a few variations adding color, leaves from Forever Fern, and pretty gems for a little sparkle.
Project Recipe
Stamp 2 flowers with Night of Navy on scrap white paper and color as desired. The flowers on the card above, I sponged Purple Posy, Highland Heather, and Pineapple Punch. Once colored, cut them out and set aside them aside.
Use the lacy background stamp with Balmy Blue, stamp off twice then stamp on a diagonal across the front of a 5/12" x 4 1/4" panel.Repeat the pattern until you have what you like, then use a sponge dauber to shade and add depth on the border.
Plan where to stamp background leaves behind flowers. Position the flowers but wait until after you stamp the leaves before attaching them :) Remove the flowers and stamp leaves in Garden Green so that they will peek out from under the flowers.
Attach the flowers and stamp splatters in Purple Posy, Balmy Blue, and Garden Green to add another layer to the background. Stamp your greeting on the front panel. Attach gems from Flowers for Every Season. Attach the panel to an 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" A2 card base.
Stamp the inside of the card with a flower and greeting and decorate your envelope.
