Magnolia cut away card |
F
ast card, watercolor the flower, trim a little away, put a piece of contrasting cardstock under cut away to make that flower pop!
Die cuts and sequins add extra dimension and interest.

Stamp flower image on the right edge of the card front in Black staz on or pigment ink on the card front and allow a moment to dry, Very Vanilla or Whisper White Cardstock (4 ¼” x 5 ½”)
Color the flower with water color pencils and blend with water brush.
Trim away about 1 inch and fussy cut around flower and leaves.Attach 1 ¼” x 5 ½” DSP to right side of the inside of the card behind the cut away to make your flower pop!
Die cut 2 friend pieces; top in from Black and bottom in Powder Pink or Calypso Coral Cardstock; layer and glue the black on top and allow a little shadow of the other to show from underneath and adhere to stamped card front. (Keep an eye out for the tiny dot for the “i” it’s easy (for me) to lose!
Stamp sentiment in Black Staz on or pigment ink sideways on the front, parallel to the fold. Stamp greeting inside card.
Attach friend die cut below “Hello.” Adhere Artistry Blooms adhesive backed sequins to card.
