I love making cards with trees so when I saw Jaydee's challenge this week, I instantly knew what I wanted to create. Sunday afternoon I sat down to "play" with my tree stamps and dies. After a few false starts, I decided to use watercolor paper. First, I covered the piece with water and then flicked ink onto it using two different greens--Mossy Meadow and Old Olive. Next, while the paper was still wet, I stamped the tree images. I let the piece dry for several hours. Then, I die cut three trees from Shimmery White Paper and added them to the watercolor paper. I backed the piece with Mossy Meadow and then wrapped bakers' twine around it before gluing it to an Old Olive card base.

I was on the fence about whether or not to add a sentiment but decided I was happy with the card as it is.
This card was a finalist in the Paper Players' challenge.
