Project Recipe
Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Sweet Sorbet Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Crumb Cake Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 3-1/2" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
Mount the Watercolor World stamp on Block F. Ink it up with the Crumb Cake Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the horizontal Crumb Cake rectangle.
Insert the stamped Crumb Cake rectangle into the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder. Place the folder with the cardstock inside on the platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and run through the machine.
As you are ready to stamp using the stamp set included in the Kindness Cards Kit, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the "your smile makes the world a brighter place" sentiment on Block B. Ink it up with the Sweet Sorbet Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of one end of the horizontal Very Vanilla rectangle, leaving room to punch it out.
Unlock the Label Me Fancy Punch. Holding the punch upside down so you can see the punching area, slide the stamped sentiment into the punch and get it centered in the punching area. Punch. Leave the punch unlocked. Keep all the pieces.
Slide the leftover end of the vanilla strip into the unlocked punch so you will punch out the small hole. Punch. Now, slide the leftover end of the strip with the hole punched in it into the unlocked punch so you will punch out a rounded end. Get the hole centered in the rounded end fairly close to the edge. Punch. Leave the punch unlocked.
Lay the punched out bit on the BACK of the sentiment punch out lining up the rounded edges on one side. Use the pencil to draw inside the hole area. Repeat with the other rounded edge.
Slide the marked sentiment punch out into the unlocked punch and get the marked area centered inside the hole punch. Punch. Repeat with the other end.
Cut a 6" piece of the burlap ribbon from the Real Red & Burlap Ribbon Combo Pack.
Thread the sentiment label punch out onto the ribbon and get it positioned on the ribbon on the left side.
Put some Stampin' Dimensionals on the back of the sentiment punch out above and below the ribbon.
Adhere the ribbon with the sentiment label punch out on it across the bottom of the stamped and dry embossed Crumb Cake rectangle so it is on the label is on the left side and is about 1/4" from the bottom. Fold the ends of the ribbon over and secure the ribbon in place on the back with strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backings from the Tear & Tape pieces and add Stampin' Seal to the back of the Crumb Cake rectangle. Adhere the rectangle to the front of the Sweet Sorbet card.
Cut a 4" piece of the burlap ribbon from the Real Red & Burlap Ribbon Combo Pack.
Slide one end of the ribbon under the ribbon already on the card front and tie in place with a half knot so it is centered between the right end of the label punch out and the right side of the card.
Trim the ends of the ribbon.
