F un and easy tags using Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- 2" x 3-3/8" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 1/2" x 2" of green maze on white background design from Painted Seasons Designer Series Paper
- 6" x 6" pieces of Painted Seasons Designer Series Paper
Unlock the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch. Slide one end of the white cardstock into the punch as far as it will go and punch.
As you are ready to stamp using the Delightful Day Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the "just a little something for you" sentiment from the Delightful Day Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Call Me Clover Ink Pad. Stamp it on the top of the white tag as close as possible to the ribbon slot.
Mount the set of two flowers image from the Delightful Day Set on Block A. Ink it up with the ink pad (I used Poppy Parade, Petal Pink, and Pool Party) and stamp it just below the stamped sentiment on the tag.
Tip: If you are creating multiple tags using different colors, be sure to clean the stamp between colors using the Simply Shammy and/or Stampin' Scrub and Stampin' Mist.
Mount the stems and leaves image from the Delightful Day Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Call Me Clover Ink Pad. Stamp it on the tag just below the stamped flowers so the stems will be under the flowers.
Use the Lemon Lime Twist Marker to color in the leaves on the stamped image.
Adhere the small strip of Painted Seasons Designer Paper to the bottom of the tag.
Stack 6" x 6" pieces of Painted Seasons Designer Series Paper on top of each other.
Place a coordinating color clip from the 2018-2020 In Color Mini Binder Clips on the stack of paper to hold the papers together.
Cut a 4" piece of the Tranquil Tide Baker's Twine from the Share What You Love Embellishment Kit.
Fold the twine in half. Stick the folded ends of the twine through the ribbon hole in the top of the tag from the back side. Feed the two loose ends of the twine through the loop in the twine and pull it tight.
Tie the two loose ends of the twine to the clip on the paper stack using a knot. Trim the excess twine off.
Cut a 4" piece of coordinating ribbon (I used Pool Party 3/8" Shimmer Ribbon, Poppy Parade 1/4" Mini Striped Ribbon, and the Petal Pink 1/4" ribbon from the Metallic Ribbon Combo Pack).
Tie a half knot in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon knot to the tag over the looped end of the twine going through the hole in the tag.
