A dorable thank you card using Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Highland Heather Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Petal Pink Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" of rows of white dots on Highland Heather background design from Subtles 6" x 6 Designer Series Paper
- 2-1/8" x 2-5/8" from Petal Pink Cardstock
- 2" x 2-1/2" from Basic White Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 3-1/4" from Basic White Cardstock
Adhere the piece of white dots on Highland Heather background Subtles Designer Paper to the center of the large Petal Pink rectangle.
Cut two pieces of the Petal Pink ribbon included in the Ribbon Duo Combo Pack so both pieces are 4-1/2" long and have the same sharp angle on one end.
Lay the two pieces of ribbon onto the bottom of the vertical, matted designer paper rectangle so the bottom piece is about 1-1/8" from the bottom and the sharp edge is about 3/4" from the right side and the other piece is just above it and about 1/2" from the right side. Put two small pieces of Tear & Tape Adhesive across the centers of the ribbons to hold them in place. Make sure the Tear & Tape bottoms are close to the bottom of the bottom piece of ribbon. Leave the protective backings in place for now.
Fold the left ends of the ribbons over and secure the ribbons in place on the back with strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backings from the Tear & Tape pieces on the back and add Stampin' Seal to the back of the Petal Pink rectangle. Adhere the rectangle to the front of the Highland Heather card.
As you are ready to stamp using the Cutest Cows Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the laying down cow body image from the Cutest Cows Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Highland Heather Ink Pad. Stamp it near the bottom of the horizontal, 2" x 2-1/2" white rectangle so the tail is about 1/4" from the left edge.
Mount the "thank you" sentiment from the Cutest Cows Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Highland Heather Ink Pad. Stamp it on the white rectangle just above the cow's back on the left side as shown.
Use the brush tip of the Petal Pink Stampin' Write Marker to color in the cow's tail, hooves, and spots.
Adhere the stamped and colored white rectangle to the center of the small Petal Pink rectangle.
Remove the protective backings from the Tear & Tape strips on the card front and add Stampin' Seal to the back of the Petal Pink rectangle. Adhere the matted cow body rectangle to the front of the card so it is about 3/8" from the left side and 3/4" from the bottom. Make sure it covers all of the Tear & Tape strips.
Mount the winking straight on cow head image from the Cutest Cows Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Highland Heather Ink Pad. Stamp it near one end of the remaining, horizontal white strip so the head is right side up. Make sure to leave room to punch it out.
Unlock the Cutest Cows Builder Punch. Hold the punch upside down so you can see the punching area. Slide the stamped cow head image into the punch and get it centered in the corresponding punching area. Punch.
Use the brush tip of the Petal Pink Stampin' Write Marker to color in the cow's nose and forelock and to lightly outline the lines in the ears.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the cow head punch out to the front of the card over the correct area on the cow's body.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 7 different sizes of jewels from a sheet of Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the card front as shown so they are centered inside some of the white dots.
